kingdom dog MINISTRIES
Seeing the Word of God through the eyes of a dog transforms lives, seriously! All of God’s creation can be used to glorify His name. KDM teaches powerful Gospel messages through the simple Word and astonishing relationship of a dog and Master. Those connected and not yet connected to Christ have experienced the reality that truth has no boundaries whether in a youth group, in a hunting club, mother’s group, or even high security prison. Mobility.dignity.gospel
Living with a disability in the third-world is an incredible challenge for families; it is also an incredible opportunity for Jesus’ wholistic healing. For almost two decades, Resurrection has collected wheelchairs from Houston area facilities and individuals. Our partners Joni and Friends, Hope Haven, and World Access Project rejuvenate these for families. And then, we join them in distributing these during our Mobility Mission Trips. You can help on the Calling Team, Pick Up Team, and/or Mission Team. If you have a mobility device to donate, call the church office to arrange a pick up or drop off.

#wecandomoretogether grants
Multiplying the opportunities to connect people to one another is key to our personal missional map (Celebrate, Cultivate, Connect) . As a community, we do that together and individually, formally and informally, young and old. We desire to be a catalyst community that encourages partnerships and dreams for the Gospel in our neighborhoods where we live, work, worship, and play. Beneficiaries have included Spring Creek Village, Lemm Elementary, Constable 4, neighborhood families, etc. Examples from the past include: “Party with a Purpose”, “Neighborhood tables for Spring Creek”, “Families in Crisis”.

externships
Experience the heart and mission of God through discipleship, neighboring, and missional leadership development. As a Sending church, investing and multiplying leaders for the Lord's Harvest (Luke 10:2) is a passion of Resurrection. Externships typically occur during the summer months, but vary in length and specific emphasis. They can bless those looking at 'full-time ministry' in the future or young (or not so young) leaders looking to live-out the life Jesus has for them in whatever vocation and season God is leading.
